Terms of Use

The agreement between Shifti and the subscribing company — and what it means for the employee using the app.

Last updated: 2026-09-13

The parties

These terms are an agreement between **Mohammed bin Muaidh bin Mohammed Al-Shatwi** (self-employed, licence No. FL-585051391), operator of the Shifti platform, and the **subscribing company**, whose representative accepts these terms on registration or by continued use.

An employee enters into no agreement with us and pays nothing: the account is created by their employer, and using the app is part of the employment relationship. The full protection of the Privacy Policy still applies to their data.

What the service provides

Employee attendance by branch-code scan, location or manual entry; leave, punch corrections, documents, announcements and discipline; payroll; and reports — according to the subscribed plan.

Shifti is **not a replacement for an accounting system or a full HR suite**, and provides no legal advice. Payroll and penalty calculations follow Saudi labour law, and verifying them against the company's own approved regulations remains the employer's responsibility.

Subscription and billing

  • The subscription is **annual**, paid in advance and renewed yearly unless the company cancels before the period ends. Your plan's price and renewal date are always shown on the **Subscription** page inside the dashboard.
  • **No refunds once a paid period has started.** Cancellation stops the renewal; it does not refund the current period, and the service keeps running until that period ends.
  • On late payment the subscription moves to "past due" and company administrators are notified, then it is cancelled after a seven-day grace period. Data is untouched and is not deleted because of late payment.

Cancellation and suspension

A company may cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

We do not suspend a compliant company without cause: use that breaches these terms or the law, or harms the service or other users — with prior notice unless the harm is ongoing.

On cancellation a company may request a copy of its data, which stays available for export for thirty days.

The company's obligations

  • To collect and process its employees' data for a lawful purpose and in line with applicable law.
  • To keep its administrator accounts confidential and tell us immediately of any unauthorised use.
  • To inform its employees that their attendance is recorded through Shifti, and to make this Privacy Policy available to them.
  • To verify the salaries, allowances and penalties it enters — the system calculates from what it is given.

Availability, support and liability

We work to keep the service available around the clock and do not commit to a specific uptime percentage at this stage. We may pause the service for maintenance, and aim to do so outside peak hours and with prior notice.

Support is at support@shifti.cc, with a response **within one business day**. Cases that stop attendance from being recorded take priority over everything else.

Our liability in all cases does not exceed what the company paid in the twelve months preceding the incident. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profit. None of this limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Other matters

The platform, its software and its marks are ours. A company's data and its employees' data belong to the company, and we use them only to operate the service for it.

We may update these terms and will notify company administrators of material changes a reasonable time before they take effect. Continued use after they take effect is acceptance.

These terms are governed by the **laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**, and the **courts of the Eastern Province** have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
