Request account deletion
A Shifti account is created by your employer for their staff; an employee cannot create or delete it from the app. This page explains how to request deletion anyway.
Two ways to request
1. Through your employer (fastest)
Ask the HR officer or the company manager at your workplace to delete your account. They own the subscription and can disable or delete the account from the dashboard directly.
2. By contacting us
If you cannot reach your employer — or you have left the job and no longer have anyone to ask — write to us and we will handle the request with the subscribing company.
support@shifti.cc
Include your full name, your national ID or registered email, and the company name. We reply within three working days.
What is deleted and what remains
Deleted:
- Your account and sign-in details (email, password, national ID).
- Your app device binding and any open sessions.
- Your uploaded documents, notes and personal requests.
Kept — by law, not by our choice:
- Attendance records and payroll runs: these are the employer's statutory books, which they must retain for the authorities.
- They remain tied to your employee number at the company, not to your account once it is deleted.
Deletion is carried out within thirty days of the request being confirmed, and a confirmation message is sent when it is done.
Common questions
Can I delete from inside the app?
No. The account is not yours alone — it is a work account tied to your company's subscription, and deleting it from the app would erase attendance records the company is required to keep. So the request goes through one of the two ways above.
My account is disabled and I cannot sign in — how do I request?
This page is public and needs no sign-in. Write to the address above from any email and include your details so we can verify you.
I left the job — what happens to my data?
Your account is normally disabled when the employment ends, so you cannot reach it and it sends you nothing. Your attendance record stays with the employer as the law requires. You can still request deletion of the account by either route above.
